My purpose is to help you discover yours

Tyler Cormney, Founder

Just before turning 30, I asked: “What is my purpose?”

"To create stories that exalt the spirit" was the answer.

That gave me the courage to leave the Harvard MBA career track I was on to pursue a career as a writer. I moved to Los Angeles and enrolled in a graduate writing program. While creating screenplays, I earned my living as an MBA admissions consultant.

Ten years later, I let go of my screenwriting dream and devoted myself completely to admissions consulting and career advising. For a time, it felt like I was giving up.

But then I realized that my clients are the heroes of the stories I help them tell — stories about what they’ve achieved and what they dream about doing. They go on to pursue inspiring careers, and some of them are out there changing the world.

To exalt is to raise someone to a higher station.

And that is exactly what I’ve been doing for professionals at a crossroads in their careers. I am fulfilling my purpose.
